Ally has a BA from the University of Dar es Salaam in Social Work. While in college, he and some batchmates started a small organization called ANZAMWAKANAMI to reach the most vulnerable children in society in Dar es Salaam region. They helped various orphanage centers including Hananasif orphanage, Safina street network, and Upanga juvenile detention centre, Dar es salaam.
