Congrats Doreen! We are so proud of you.

“What an honour it has been to be in the midst of such incredible women in Marrakech, Morocco at the Women in Africa Summit (WIA) this week! It’s been a privilege to meet women entrepreneurs, change makers, innovators, educators, policymakers, thinkers, politicians and etc from all across Africa. One thing is clear, women and particularly the African woman is no longer waiting or asking for permission. Despite all the challenges, she is out there leading, giving, taking, solving problems and adding value in her community. We still have a long way to go before we all get on the same page on issues of gender equality, but we can be certain, change is here. It was also an honour to represent our amazing team of hardworking Ubongoers, and receive the Women in Africa Entrepreneur Of the Year Award in Education”! Ubongo remains committed to promoting gender equality through edutainment. We believe that by nurturing young minds on the importance of equality and diversity, we are solving the problem at the root. Our hope is that over time, we will have a new generation of men and women who are truly convinced that, an equal world is better for all of the us-everyone wins!@ubongokids @akiliandme @ubongo”, by Doreen.
