Being a singer-songwriter inspired by a colorful variety of art, Atu has further explored her talent as a jingle writer, as a voice actress for radio dramas, animated television series and documentaries, as singer-comedienne for Evans Bukuku's Comedy Club and as one of the actresses touring the Netherlands for the musical theatre production, Daughters of Africa. As one of the pioneers localizing Karaoke with the key intention of bringing people from all walks of life together through this medium, she hosted a number of Karaoke events across Dar es Salaam and has been honored to perform the Tanzania National Anthem; for a WildAid related launch in 2016 themed to protect wildlife, for the UN Women Gender & News Summit 2018 and for the Sprite Basketball Kings Finale 2018. Atu is currently happily employed at Ubongo where she does her best to come up with edutaining stories that may inspire kids in Tanzania, across Africa and around the world. She enjoys bike-riding and discovering new interests.
