Brooke Smith

Brooke is a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park studying Behavioral and Community Health. She was drawn to the field of public health because of its interdisciplinary nature and ability to positively change the lives of many people. She enjoys working with kids and back on campus, she is the treasurer of a club called Engineering Playdate, a group that puts on hardware hackathons for local elementary school girls. Here at Ubongo, Brooke is a monitoring and evaluation intern. She feels honored to have the opportunity to work for an organization bringing educational content to millions of kids!
