Cliodhna comes from Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in education, she worked as a primary school teacher, bringing play-based learning to her classes of early learners. She came to Tanzania in 2017 as an Education Specialist with UNICEF. An advocate for lifelong learning, she completed a master’s degree in International Development during this time. Now, as Director of Education & Research at Ubongo, she makes sure that our content is not only entertaining, but educational too. She firmly believes that the best way to learn is by having fun!
