Shama is a strategic education and innovation leader with 15+ years of experience in designing and scaling impactful learning programs across Africa and globally. She has led the creation and delivery of over 120 STEAM, EdTech, and professional skills initiatives reaching more than 2,000 learners, blending creativity, technology, and real-world problem solving. Shama has extensive expertise in program innovation, curriculum design, strategic partnerships, and capacity building. She also guides multi-million-dollar initiatives, coaches high-performing teams, and translates research into products and policies that drive measurable impact.
Shama holds a Master's Degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University and a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School. She has previously worked with Dalberg, leading global learning and development initiatives, and has contributed to U.S. education policy as a National Policy Emerson Fellow.
