Ubongo Kids and Akili and Me ebooks available for free on M-Book and Worldreader

    By ubongo | Akili and Me, Blog, Ubongo Kids | 0 comment | 25 December, 2017 | 7

Our Ubongo Kids and Akili and Me e-books are ready to take the digital world by storm!   We have now launched a selection of our e-books on M-Book. This new Tanzanian mobile app provides a platform to access your favourite books on your smartphone or tablet. E-books and audiobooks are available in both Kiswahili and English, with our Ubongo Kids and Akili and Me series among a wide selection of e-books for kids.   We’re also delighted to announce our partnership with Worldreader, a non-profit organisation on a mission to help kids reach their full potential by giving everyone the chance to be a reader.

Through sponsorship, they are able to provide e-readers to schools lacking in books and textbooks. These e-readers come loaded with a selection of 100 books which are available for free. As our contribution to helping kids to learn and to love to read, we have made eight of our Akili and Me e-books, and eight of our Ubongo Kids e-books free of charge. Hopefully, with the ever-increasing reach of Worldreader, our educational and entertaining stories will be able to reach even more children across Africa and the world.

The selection of 16 free e-books applies to all platforms we launch on, including Kitabu App, M-Book and Worldreader, so if you want to sample a story to read to your child at bedtime, or to help them practice their own reading skills, then make sure you download one.
