Ubongo Kids Used in Malaria Education Project

    Help us stop Malaria!

One of the most popular episodes of Ubongo Kids was released last year in partnership with Malaria No More and Mothers Against Malaria for World Malaria Day.  Ubongo was happy to learn that the episode has been used recently in a local health outreach project run by help2kids Tanzania  The episode, titled “The Mosquito Army”, teaches children about the importance of malaria prevention, especially through the use of treated bednets.  Children at a local orphanage received a presentation from help2kids staff then had the opportunity to watch and discuss the Ubongo Kids episode.  This makes the episode a powerful educational tool to be used by organizations doing malaria health outreach around the world.  Hundreds of impoverished children in Dar es Salaam have benefited from the help2kids health project, which includes the distribution of bednets, and we are happy to be a small part of their program.

The episode is available for free online in English!
